The robot hour memo
Thailand does not need more robots. It needs the data to use the ones it already has.
The definitive robotics dataset says Thailand buys nearly 6,000 robots a year. Its robot density is still only 28 per 10,000 workers. That gap is not a shortage of machines. It is a shortage of matched capacity.
South Korea runs 1,012 robots per 10,000 workers. Germany runs 415. Japan runs 397. Thailand runs 28. The country is in the first machine phase, not the replace the fleet phase. Buyers need palletizing arms, vision guided pick stations, and cobots tending CNCs, not humanoids that walk.
The MPBx play is not a robot catalog. It is a robot hour exchange: idle robot hours, underutilized integrator capacity, and certified refurbished machines surfaced through a spec first matching language and trust rails.
